this album has crazy mood shifts. bad transitions too. wow.

finally listening to ayumi hamasaki's new album. guilty. currently on track 4/14. except track 1 is intro track. so far. all the songs are like. hard guitars. which is annoying. when she did it before it wasn't that good. now shes like making a whole album with this. (dont know if its really the whole album). annoying ayumi. she should just go away. go back 4 albums ago and make great music.

wowow. just realized i've been posting almost everyday for the last week! or something. even if they are just like 2 word posts, i must be so bored to post so often.

Sunday, December 30, 2007

is today really sunday? yea it is apparently. 2 more weeks of break. then back to school. and repeat. and stuff like that. repetitive stuff like this blog.

so much talk right now about nanjing (nanking) massacre, or rape of nanjing (nanking). whatever. since its like 70 years now. even taiwanese rap group machi makes some song about it. but yea. its so controversial because some people are like japan says they didn't do it, and they say china is making it all up. but yea. i think it would be weird if japan really didn't do it. and china really made it all up. its not unlikely, since china is like wowowo censor everything, no wikipedia, no tiananmen square, no dynasties either.

body worlds is quite interesting. lots of dead bodies and a dead horse. they are all plasticized and then muscles and body parts everywhere! and slices and cool stuff. and theres a guy that was blown up and pieces everywhere suspended. so interesting. germans are brilliant people for creating this. wowow.

fluctuation is annoying. creates this whole science called statistics and probability. things should be more certain. then life would be better. need happy life generators in this world.

i'm so sick of japanese bands from the 90's that disbanded. suddenly they are all coming back together and making music and making money again! wowow. so stupid. x japan broke up. luna sea broke up. and suddenly x japan is making saw 4's music. and luna sea is playing christmas concerts. so lame that luna sea said they would break up because they thought they made the best album they could and couldn't make anything better. apparently not. annoying.

anyways. tiger mauling at san francisco zoo. some crazy tiger got out of 15 feet moat and 20 foot high wall. then attacked 3 people. on christmas. and last year. same tiger attacked a zoo keeper. too bad she's siberian, so shes endangered. now they killed her. only 599 left.

merry christmas.

good friend ayumi hamasaki has an album out soon, or already. or whatever. its called guilty. anyways. i dont really want to listen to it, because she hasn't been making any good music at all, since like 4 albums ago. but i must be the best fan in the world and listen to her all music and love it all. or something like that. i dont know. but i'm listening to this cool guy named. kashiwa daisuke. he's some japanese guy. and he made this 35 minute song called stella. it is really great. just piano and strings and sighs and other emo sounds. quite amazing.

huh. they made "the diving bell and the butterfly" into a movie. its a book about by some guy named jean-dominique bauby. he was some writer and everything was fine, until he had a stroke. then life wasn't so good because he could only move his left eyelid and eye. and through that. he wrote a whole book. by blinking and other people transcribing. but yea. its supposed to be about his imagination and stuff, so its like a druggie film. dont know if that is good.

VegetableCruelty.com

chinese people are weird. they refer every big event based on the day it happened on. examples:

june fourth (6,4) - tiananmen square
march 19 (3,19) - when chen shui bian (taiwan president) was shot day before election
february 28 (2,28) - when a bunch of chinese people came over to taiwan and killed everyone.

theres a lot more, but those are the ones that just come in my mind. the thing is they don't use the year! so what if things overlap?! problems. china has like a 90 years of history (dynasties don't count). a lot of things must have happened. things must have overlapped. what do the chinese do?

anyways, this just means that chinese people are math people and memorize numbers better than names.

apparently the former president of taiwan, lee teng-hui, used to cosplay. of course this was after he retired being president. but still. very weird. he loves japan apparently. but hes more from china, so his own party (the party that is more from china) doesn't like him because chinese dont like japan. but taiwan natives are okay with japan. (not really.)

better and better. worse and worse. it fluctuates. like a sine curve. or cosine curve. choose one please. but not tangent curve. hopefully not cosecant or secant curve. those are miserably bad. cotangent is bad too. but yes. oscillations. up down up down. equal 1. not really. it equals square root 2. at least for silly alternating currents. that is how life works.

finally home. 3 weeks of nothing but fun fun winter vacation. something like that. but not really. its all whatever.

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

i want the end to come nearer. and by end, i mean the end of finals. start of break. so i can also say i want the start to come nearer. but then that sounds weird. it's like going backwards. because we always think as the start as behind us and we're reaching for the end. or something like that. at least i do. maybe it doesn't work like that for everybody. but yea. and "the end" sounds more depressing. and that catches attention.

physics is annoying because they teach a whole semester on electricity and magnetism. and then at the end, they say lols! here's maxwell's equations! and those 4 equations that maxwell found (and edited a little, to parallel each other) can be used for everything in e&m. oh well. i guess that's how education works. they teach summations and everything before teaching integrals. teach rise over run before teaching derivatives. now we just need to compile everything together. every single equation. into one! then life will be good. but it will never happen, so life is never good.

i just spent a lot of time thinking about this one ochem problem. it had a carbon nmr, with formula c5h10o, two peaks. so i was trying to draw it. and i couldn't ever get it. now a few hours later, i realize, theres a tiny peak that i kind of skipped over in the fuzzy bottom part of the graph. wowow. and if you had no idea what all that meant, basically, i'm stupid.

finished anatomy final some time ago, today. apparently, with all the other quizzes and tests and stuff. i had a 89.7 before the final. too bad i didn't know that until right before the final. i already thought i failed and had no more hope. hopefully, anatomy final is okay. TIME FOR PHYSICS! and OCHEM! soon.

PRESSURE!!!
= FORCE / AREA!
BUT WITHOUT THE FACTORIALS!
WHAT AM I DOING.

easy answers in different classes:

biology: increases genetic variability (sex, chromosomes, dna, whatever)
anatomy: increases surface area (rugae, villi, folds, whatever)
organic chemistry: more stable (carbocation, radical, whatever)

such easy classes!

Saturday, December 15, 2007

i just spent way too much time changing my website. but i think it looks cool. too bad all the coding is not "strict". oh well!

monday: anatomy final
wednesday: physics final
friday: ochem final

two are borderline ish. physics is okay. its okay. i guess. study hard and everything will be fine.

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

pre-finals are over. time for the real finals! yay! but whatever. i'm so tired of the writer's strike! stupid writer's guild of america. or whatever. go on your stupid strike. asking for more money and stuff. don't work. get a better job. useless people. wowowow. stop affecting my shows. now becuase of this annoyingness, house is starting to do reruns! theres only 3 more episodes left before the writers suddenly stopped writing. i want to watch my house, but i keep getting "enjoy season 3!". i hate season 3. its annoying. wowow. i can write the show! for much cheaper too! i dont care. get the show running. stupid unions. useless.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007

school is almost over. finish faster please.

Sunday, December 09, 2007

i'd like to take this time to thank my liver for existing. without it, i would have died because the dining hall decided to poison the food. thanks to my liver, i survived this assassination attempt. the liver does so many things. around 200. but it still worked hard to clean my body of toxins! yay. i love my liver.

applied organic chemistry. sudafed is behind the counter now because people keep buying it and making crystal meth / methamphetamine. so checked wikipedia for the structures of pseudoephedrine (sudafed) and meth. apparently theres only the step of removing a hydroxyl group without damaging amine and phenyl. so easy easy. the stereochemistry is already done too! so i started working and got two possible ways.

1. oxidize alcohol to ketone, then remove with clemmenson reaction using Zn(Hg)
2. barton-mccombie reaction (found it online), uses some weird reagents

problems.

1. clean out mercury? but whatever. its a drug its deadly anyways. its part of the excitement.
2. dont know where to get the weird reagents.

so yea. that is from my hard work. after researching online for a while, apparently they mix a lot of weird things together. like red phosphorous, NaOH, ammonia, ether, Drano, lighter fluid, and HCl. so either i have found the wonderful new approach to this, or i am completely wrong. oh well.

it is annoying when people laugh at others screwing up and stuff. and then its annoying when someone gets annoyed and tells that person "you do better". because maybe that person cant do better. but he isn't actually doing the action. so hes not showing how bad he is and he knows his place. or something like that. made more sense in my head.

Wednesday, December 05, 2007

eh. shooting again. this time in a mall in omaha, nebraska. killed 8 people. and his suicide note said he wanted to go out in style. people are weird.

why is the internet so slow? school internet is horrible. its like wowowow slower please. tuition is high. but internet is slow. so horrible. why cant things be better?

my eyeball hurts.

Tuesday, December 04, 2007

its almost raining today. went swimming today. what a boring life. its only 12:46 PM. there is class at 2:00 PM. then there is nothing until 7-9 PM, when i go tutor people and make things up and teach them false things. not really. but i could. because they don't take notes or read the book themselves.

Monday, December 03, 2007

lolol. read about the accessory digestive organs. basically just read about the liver because it has over 200 functions. anatomy is great fun!

FINALS IN A FEW WEEKS! YAYAYYAYAYAY! SO EXCITED. after all the classes have their final exams before the real final exam. yes. fun times.

Chomsky: You almost never find anyone, whether it's in a weapons plant, or planning agency, or in corporate management, or almost anywhere, who says, 'I'm really a bad guy, and I just want to do things that benefit myself and my friends.' Almost invariably you get noble rhetoric like: 'We're working for the benefit of the people.' The corporate executive who is slaving for the benefit of the workers and community; the friendly banker who just wants to help everybody start their business; the political leader who's trying to bring freedom and justice to the world-and they probably all believe it. I'm not suggesting that they're lying. There's an array of routine justifications for whatever you're doing. And it's easy to believe them. It's very hard to look into the mirror and say, 'Yeah, that guy looking at me is a vicious criminal.' It's much easier to say, 'That guy looking at me is really very benign, self-sacrificing, and he has to do these things because it's for the benefit of everyone.'

something that sparkles and fades.
