run run run. all people do in dramas is run. if people weren't in such a rush, they wouldn't get in so much trouble. everything is omg 10 seconds, run run run. fast fast fast. and then car crash. or if sad, just run aimlessly. run run run. happy feeling = run run run. always run. run to school, run to work, run home. or maybe it's because i'm watching it at 4 times the speed. maybe some is real running, some not. but there is still a lot of moving.

i want to be a shellfish.

i feel unstable. like an intermediate compound. or a transition state. the latter is more unstable. maybe i'm not that unstable, or i would have already dropped to stability. but it is really irritating. i wish i could just fall down, on either side would be fine. reactant or product. as long as i am stable. and lower the energy input, don't want to fall down and have enough energy to overcome the activation energy again. that would be meaningless. just stabilize. reactant. product: kinetic or thermodynamic. it doesn't matter. actually prefer thermodynamic, because that is more stable.

important news.

Man accused of spraying woman's shoes with water

2 hours, 59 minutes ago

CINCINNATI - A woman told Cincinnati police that she heard a noise and then felt something cold on her feet. Police said a man crawled under a table at a University of Cincinnati library and used a syringe to spray saltwater onto the woman's shoes.
Dwight Pannell, 43, of Columbus, was booked on charges of voyeurism, assault and criminal trespass, court records show.

Pannell was silent in court a court appearance on Thursday. His attorney argued that Pannell's alleged actions didn't warrant the charges against him.

The woman told officers that after she heard something coming from under her table and felt the sensation on her feet, she looked down and saw a man on his knee holding a syringe.

The judge set Pannell's bond at $75,000.

wtf i was reading my xanga hidden old posts and i saw something. maybe i've already posted it here, but its sheer brilliance must be reposted.

anata wa imasen (?, i dont remember, the japanese image doesn't work anymore)
"You don't exist"

i wander aimlessly.
you're dissapearing...
like a polar bear in a blizzard
my mind is clearing.
i'm really a lizard.

i want to hold you
under water
and one day, meet your father
maybe, even your hot mother

the love you showed me.
wasn't so real after all
"come on lets play ball!"
the voice echoes the pain
it hurts like sticking my foot in a food processor.
oh, those darn muckrakers.

i just want to hold you one more time
the voice that echoes...
its as if in a dream

the memories might fade
i'll never forget the times we had
playing in the sun
getting skin cancer together

those were the times of my life
too bad you ended it with strife
i thought it was fate.
but it was just hate

i've been told
writing love lyrics
gets mighty old.
i'm sick of your bad poetry

dramas are annoying. have to wait for subtitles. they come in soft subs or hard subs. i like soft subs because it is an external file, so i can play with the file, and then also it works with the higher quality rips. so it is good. i dont like hard sub files because they are usually low quality and annoying. but i guess one good thing about hard subs is that they can be fast fowarded and the subtitles still show. i think soft subs disappear. anyways, i'm watching kamisama, mou sukoshi dake (god, give me more time). or something like that. it is about some girl who loves some composer, so she sells herself to go to a concert. then she gets HIV and dies. its pretty boring, but i must watch it because it is great or something. so i watch it in 4 times the normal speed. episodes finish faster. and i can say i watched it. this is all the great help of hard sub. i like hard subs for bad dramas i guess. but then i dont like bad dramas. i wish they didn't exist. like myself. what a bad drama. too bad i am RAW and not subbed.

i'm so lazy, and i don't get anything done. i should though. it is a waste of my life.

tokyo wankei is the best. it has everything. love between wrong countries. even happened to parents. and then injury by stabbing, becoming paralyzed from waist down. and then turning out to be siblings, then not. then getting hit by motorcycles and losing memory, but it comes back quickly. it even has burying little boxes. this drama is the best. the only thing it doesn't have is cancer or some terminal illness, and no one dies. (happy ending). but yea. this is the last post ever about tokyo wankei. it was the biggest waste of time ever.

Thursday, May 22, 2008

so in tokyo wankei, people under the influence of narcotics with knives walk around the airport stabbing people. so convenient.

lol dramas are so predictable. its either a happy ending or a sad ending where everyone dies.

in tokyo wankei, korean girl is lols with some japanese guy, so parents are like LOL. so she gets arranged marriage, so she's sad and tells boy to meet at some stream. so on the way there, boy runs through a construction site (i dont know why.) and then some kid is riding a tricycle there also (again, huh) and the beams on the lift aren't tied right, so they fall, and boy saves the little kid, but he gets hit by all the beams. girl is like huh? and people tell her boy died, so shes sad for a few years and then goes ahead with the arranged marriage.

a few years later, turns out boy isn't dead, just lost his left leg. too bad girl has been married. so they go on with each other lives. dont even know each other anymore. then! they have kids with other people, boy has a boy. girl has a girl. so daughter is running around, slips. son is like wow catches her. girl is like lol thanks and runs away. then girl at that time is having some japanese boyfriend who is like lol we can't get married, so shes sad. and she does a cell phone dating thing, and meets some japanese guy. blabhalblabhah. turns out it is son. so its like the same thing happening, a few years later.

then when son figures it out, he's like call her and let's meet at the site where her mom was supposed to meet, and dad lost leg. and so run run run. then boy runs through the same construction site (don't know why it is still being under constuction). so girl gets there and is waiting. and boy is running, and the thing is falling! and then girl calls boy. and cell phone rings, so he has to pick it up. and he stops and the thing falls in front of him. so technology saves people. that is the result. but anyways, that was only the intro of episode 7. theres 11 episodes. plenty more for people to die in.

High Winds Blow Stained Glass out of Burns Tower

Tower will be closed until next week

High winds blew out a 6 ½-foot wide, 20-foot tall stained glass windows located at the top of the historic Burns Tower Thursday morning. No one was injured in the accident.

Due to continuing safety concerns, the tower will be closed through the holiday weekend. It is expected to reopen for business Tuesday, May 27. Workers are securing additional glass panels that were loosened by the high winds. Employees are advised to stay away from the tower on Friday.

All parking lots in the northwest area of the campus from Burns Tower to the Calaveras River are closed until Tuesday. People who normally park in that area are advised to park on the west side of campus. The roadway in front of the tower also will be closed until Tuesday. University officials will make special arrangements for special events happening this weekend.

The accident was reported at 7:30 a.m. Thursday. University of the Pacific officials immediately ordered the evacuation of Burns Tower and cordoned off the surrounding area as a safety precaution. Crews were called in to assess the damage and to reinforce the remaining windows with new anchors. They also patched the hole with plywood to prevent further wind damage in the tower.

“We are grateful that no one was hurt and that the quick action of University employees immediately secured the area,” said Patrick Cavanaugh, vice president of business and finance for Pacific. “Our crews will work through the night to secure the tower and make sure that it will be operational when employees return from the three-day weekend next Tuesday.”

According to the National Weather Service, gusts of up to 40 miles per hour were reported at about the same time as the accident. The high winds caused anchors in the window to become loose, causing the window to fall out of place. Other windows also were loosened by the wind, but no panes fell out, said Scott Heaton, director of physical and support services for Pacific.

The window will be replaced with a replica, Heaton said. The window was one of the 24 original stained-glass windows installed in the tower before the 1964 opening of the building.

it is horrible. i am sucked into these romantic dramas. stupid dramas about eating takoyaki without the tako (octopus). and koreans in japan, wrong country. and people dying, but not really. and that's about as much as i know so far. it is tokyo wankei. and i guess i am only watching it because i don't know any other way to kill time. and i already watched a lot of dramas that were not romantic. and then there's no more dramas that i know of. so i decided to go look up dramas with nakama yukie. and end up with this confusing nonsense. but i cant stop. it doesn't let me. evils.

my pee is really yellow after i eat two oranges and drink a vitamin/electrolyte drink. it is great fun. it is like organic dyes. so powerful. yet such low concentrations. maybe not, maybe it is really high concentration. whatever it is, it is really yellow. it is so yellow it is orange. my foot is cracked. it is so dry and dirty. i really should wash my feet. i do though. it is standing in water when i shower. why isn't it clean? doesn't make sense.

today, i was trying to open the door to my room, and i couldn't get the door to open, so i was like, omg the key broke, someone stuck something in the lock, or something, its not working, omgomg, kick door, need to get into, then i realized, i was turning it the wrong way

drama is a great way to kill time. kill kill kill. murder murder murder. just like suicide. except different. time kills me.

computers are so much easier now. especially harddrives. no more of that parallel ATA. everything is serial ATA now. which apparently makes no more slave and master drives and lame stuff like that. which is so much easier! don't need jumpers and junk. serial and parallel like sharing the same charge/current or sharing the same voltage. does that even make sense? no. huh.

life is like an exciting dream, or a nightmare. except there's no waking up. maybe. none of the "oh, its only a nightmare." or "damn." sleep sleep. i can think of that idea, therefore it is true. one school of thought? or something.

akira kurosawa's ikiru is an amazing movie. black and white from 1950s or something. but yea. its great. about a guy who realizes he has cancer, and he decides to make a difference with his life. it is great. too bad it was 2.5 hours. right before finals. blah.

Saturday, May 10, 2008

i had a dream that i was on the computer so long that i went blind. my right eye only. it turned clear and it was very sad. hard to see without a right eye. good thing i still have my left eye. it's good to have two. one for the backup. just like chromosomes. always a backup allele. unless you're homozygous recessive. then it's just useless. or if the disease is dominant. then are sad.

Girl, 13, hangs herself after becoming obsessed with Emo 'suicide cult' rock band
Last updated at 03:07am on 09.05.08

A girl of 13 killed herself after becoming obsessed with a fashion which links death with glamour, an inquest heard.

Hannah Bond hanged herself from her bunk bed with a tie after becoming an 'Emo'.

Emo fans wear dark clothes, practise self-harm and listen to "suicide cult" rock bands.

Two weeks before her death, she started following U.S. band My Chemical Romance.

One of their songs contains the lyrics: "Although you're dead and gone, believe me your memory will go on."

Hannah, described as a model pupil, had started cutting her wrists but told her father it was part of an initiation into the Emo fashion.

Coroner Roger Sykes said yesterday that Hannah's death was "not glamorous, just simply a tragic loss of a young life".

Hannah's mother Heather told the inquest she had researched the trend since her daughter's death.

"There are websites that show pink teddies hanging themselves," she said.

"She called Emo a fashion and I thought it was normal."

She added: "Hannah was a normal girl. She had loads of friends. She could be a bit moody but I thought it was just because she was a teenager."

Hannah's father Ray, a karate teacher, said: "Two weeks before, I saw the cuts. I asked her about them and she said it was an Emo initiation.

"She promised me she would never do it again."

Hannah gave her name as Living Disaster on her page on social networking website Bebo.

The page is decorated with a picture of an Emo girl with bloody wrists after slashing herself.

Another picture shows a child's exercise book scrawled with the words: "Dear Diary, today I give up. . ."

The inquest in Maidstone, Kent, heard Hannah had been with her boyfriend at a friend's house on the evening of September 22 last year.

She had been angry when she was told she was not allowed to sleep over and when she got home in East Peckham she went straight to her room, saying: "I want to kill myself."

The inquest was told Hannah had not used drugs or alcohol before her death but Vanessa Everett, her head teacher at Mascalls School, said self-harm had become commonplace among other Emo fans.

Recording a verdict of suicide, Mr Sykes said: "The Emo overtones concerning death and associating it with glamour I find very disturbing."

•The Emo phenomenon began in the U.S. in the 1980s. It is a largely teenage trend and is characterised by depression, self-injury and suicide.

Followers wear tight jeans with studded belts and wristbands. Their hair is dyed black and worn in long fringes to obscure their faces.

Emo - from the word emotional - is a reference to the angst-filled lyrics and melancholy themes of the rock music central to the culture.

One of the foremost of these "suicide cult" bands is My Chemical Romance, from New Jersey.

Their first single, Welcome to the Black Parade, from the album The Black Parade, was released in 2006 and became a huge hit, going to number one in Britain.

The concept album follows the story of a character called The Patient, who dies of cancer.

The Black Parade is a nickname for the place where Emo fans believe they will go
when they die.

the only way to be successful in simcity is to tax the poor. i've learned that if you build hospitals and clinics, then everyone just goes on strike, even if you give them maximum budget. won't shutup. also everything causes pollution, so its impossible to try to save the environment. garbage just builds up. then everywhere fills up, the whole map. no where to build. and people complain. also, it is the major's duty to assign firefighters to burning buildings. what a horrible life. addicted to simcity right before finals.

according to wikipedia (because it is the most reliable source):

signs and symptoms of clinical depression: (weird putting two lines with colons, large intestine)
1. Loss of appetite and/or weight loss or conversely overeating and weight gain
2. Insomnia, early morning awakening, or oversleeping
3. other junk.

but those two are like. wowow. they should just say, appetite is different, sleep is different. instead of saying two completely opposite things. what a waste of words. conserve words please. save the environment. going to run out and will need alternative wording. to prevent sounding the same.
